Wherein, the adverse electromagnetic interaction of the neutralized beam with electrically charged particles comprised in the transmission apparatus, and the adverse electromagnetic effects of transmitting energy are eliminated in direct proportion to the destructive interference in, and the respective intensity eliminated from, the neutralized beam during transmission. GENERIC DESCRIPTION: The present invention is described herein in a generalized preferred embodiment which proposes to be applicable for efficiently transmitting energy to a target to accomplish the overall objective of an application of the present invention in an effective manner. More specifically, the present invention proposes to be applicable for transmitting energy in an effective manner for applications comprising radiosurgery, radiotherapy, non-invasive ophthalmic surgery, imaging, power transmission, communications, energy storage, momentum-based power generation, and data storage and retrieval. Figure (1) shows a side view of a generalized drawing of a preferred embodiment of the present invention which is proposed to be applicable for transmitting energy (per se) in an energy efficient manner. The preferred embodiment in figure (1) is applied as follows: Step 1) apparatus (2), which comprises apparatus for producing a coherent beam of electromagnetically intense radiation and interferometric apparatus (e.g., Michelson interferometric apparatus), produces a beam of electromagnetically neutralized radiation (4). The beam of electromagnetically neutralized radiation (4) comprises, as examples, a beam of electromagnetically neutralized electromagnetic field quanta, or a beam of electromagnetically neutralized electrically charged particles of the same sort, e.g., a beam of electromagnetically neutralized electrons. More specifically, the beam of electromagnetically neutralized radiation (4) comprises forward propagating wave-particle behaving entities which each comprise a forward traveling transverse wave with an associated oscillatorily time-varying electromagnetic field, total energy, and momentum. Wherein, the waves in the given beam of electromagnetically neutralized radiation (4) are superimposed out of phase to an extent so as to produce destructive interference to an extent, such that the respective oscillatorily time-varying electromagnetic fields in beam (4) cancel to a corresponding extent. In which case, the radiation in beam (4) is electromagnetically neutralized in direct proportion to the time-averaged energy flux density which is eliminated from beam (4). (Note that a beam of electromagnetically neutralized radiation can comprise a beam of totally electromagnetically neutralized radiation produced by total destructive interference of forward traveling transverse waves and total cancellation of associated time-varying electromagnetic fields; or a beam of electromagnetically neutralized radiation can comprise a beam of partly electromagnetically neutralized radiation produced by partial destructive interference of forward traveling transverse waves and partial cancellation of associated time-varying electromagnetic fields.); and, Step 2) from apparatus (2), the beam of electromagnetically neutralized radiation (4) is coherently transmitted by apparatus (6) to target (8). Here, again, during coherent transmission by apparatus (6) to target (8), the beam of electromagnetically neutralized radiation (4) comprises waves which are superimposed out of phase to an extent so as to produce destructive interference to an extent, such that the respective oscillatorily time-varying electromagnetic fields in beam (4) cancel to a corresponding extent. In effect, adverse electromagnetic interaction of beam (4) with electromagnetically intense entities (e.g., electrically charged particles) comprised in coherent transmission apparatus (6) is eliminated in direct proportion to the time-averaged energy flux density which is eliminated from the beam of electromagnetically neutralized radiation (4) during transmission. Thus, the adverse electromagnetic effects of transmitting energy are eliminated to a directly proportional extent.
